Karan Johar, who made Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham is back with his new venture Student of the year movie. This movie is all set to rock the nation with its storyline and music. Karan Johar announced this venture just after the finish of his Shahrukh starrer flick My name is Khan. The two names i.e. Siddhartha Malhotra and Varun Dhawan were assistant directors under Karan Johar during the making of My name is Khan. The three debutants cannot expect for a better luck and opportunity as they are being directed by Karan Johar. Karan Johar and Shahrukh Khan are jointly producing this movie; hence the movie has two banners, Red Chillies Entertainment and Dharma Productions.
